Tonight, on the eve of New Year’s Eve, I’ve decided to light my Brain in a Jar candle. I’m ushering out one era and ready to embrace a new one. Is this the beginning of the end or the end of beginning?
Here’s a look back at my Brain in a Jar blog–statistics provided by WordPress:
600 people reached the top of Mt. Everest in 2012. This blog got about 11,000 views in 2012. If every person who reached the top of Mt. Everest viewed this blog, it would have taken 18 years to get that many views.
In 2012, there were 95 new posts, growing the total archive of this blog to 174 posts. There were 320 pictures uploaded, taking up a total of 68 MB. That’s about 6 pictures per week.
The busiest day of the year was May 3rd with 454 views. The most popular post that day was The Story is Spreading.
The full report can be seen here if you’re interested. But stay tuned because 2013 will be the year of my brain.
Not jarred. But, yes, on fire.
