Walk a Mile in Our Shoes

Dears,

Hard to believe that two years ago, when I participated in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s, Beau was still walking.

Shortly thereafter, though, he entered Juniper Memory Care, where he endured Alzheimer’s with grace and humor as his motor and cognitive skills began their steep decline.

His suffering ended on  April 2, 2102.  I still suffer from his loss, and I  suffer alongside the millions of other families struggling with AD.

I will walk with them, and I will walk in memory of him. Join me if you can by giving a small donation here. Even better, come walk with me and hold my hand. Just the way Beau and I used to stroll around Juniper.

Love,

Ole Gal
