I’m writing on Keith’s computer in Prague. I finally have a solid (I think?) internet connection. I was finally able to download the “fairy tale” video with you & your sweet Dad….I wish I could have hugged you after that moment. What struck me in the video was that it appeared your Dad was actually reading the book. Does he still read? If so…that’s incredible! Perhaps it’s wishful thinking on my part, but I took his “no” as “I’m reading it myself.” My Dad really struggles with this, these days. He dearly loved to read. I hope like heck your Dad is still able to enjoy the written word. Especially given his daughter is such a gifted writer.
I hope you are settling in well in New Orleans. It’s a magical city. A city in pain but a city that seems to celebrate “the moment” when it’s upon them. I love the spontaneity of the place and the fact that it continues to rise like a phoenix from the ashes, again & again. I think it’s quite fitting a place for a Gal like you & I know you’ll make magic there.
Love from Praha,
